This March 8, we proudly join the global community in celebrating International Women’s Day 2025 (IWD)! This year’s theme, “Accelerate Action”, resonates deeply with our values as we continue to amplify women’s voices, empower diverse perspectives, and inspire meaningful change toward a more equitable world.
At TP, gender equality is our mission, and we’re turning it into reality. Change is happening now. Together, we’re breaking barriers, accelerating action, and making equality unstoppable.
Accelerating Action, Inspiring Change
As we celebrate the International Women’s Day, we recognize the remarkable achievements of women worldwide. But beyond the celebration, it is a call to keep moving forward, to continue breaking barriers, challenging biases, and creating a world where every woman can thrive.
Gender equality is a journey that requires unwavering commitment, collective effort, and courage to push for lasting change every day. Here at TP, we are making strides towards the right direction. 53% of TP’s workforce are women. These figures reflect our ongoing efforts, but we know there is still so much more to be done. Also, we have made progress at the senior leadership level, but still aim for balanced representation in executive positions.
On IWD 2025, we are inviting you to renew your commitment to building an equitable future. Change starts with each of us and every action—big or small—matters.
Ask yourself, “how can you help accelerate action in your own way?” It could be as simple as challenging unconscious bias in daily interactions or as profound as advocating for policy changes that promote equality. Everyone has a role to play, and together, we can make change and gender equality unstoppable.
This month, as we celebrate International Women’s Day, we shine a spotlight on some of TP’s remarkable initiatives from different countries that empower and promote women:
TP in the US: Project Athena
TP in the US proudly sponsors “Project Athena,” a foundation that helps survivors of medical and/or traumatic challenges reach new athletic goals. TP will be sending seven employees to participate in adventures that provide mental and physical challenges in a non-competitive environment. This year, our employees will take part in an adventure taking place in November 2025, traveling from Key Largo to Key West via biking, hiking, and kayaking.
TP in India: “Women Leading Change: Ripples of Change"
Women Leading Change is designed to unite female leaders. TP in India invited trailblazers in the workforce to share their experiences and learn from one another the best practices in driving diversity of thought. This event reinforced our commitment to embracing diversity, nurturing relationships, and promoting new opportunities.
TP in France: Support for the local football teams
Our TP Women teams in France helped the women's teams of the Saran football club in Loiret. Our support enabled the football team to sponsor the team and buy shirts and shorts for all the players. We chose to sponsor them to help young women in a sport that is very popular in France but mainly played by men. Gender bias starts early, and this opportunity allowed us to step in and embrace the change. These teams have a state of mind that is close to TP’s values and achieve excellent sporting results.
TP in Mexico: TP Women panel, “Women Who Inspire and Lead Change and Inclusion"
In an insightful panel hosted by TP Women in Mexico, four special guests shared their thoughts on female empowerment, work-life balance, the portrayal of women in our society, and more. More than 4,500 people watched the live event, gathering valuable insights and experiences from women leaders who make a difference. Furthermore, this event had the support of the male leaders in the region and showcased the change underway in a highly male dominant environment.
TP in Greece: Pink October
In Greece, TP continues its tradition as an official volunteer sponsor for Greece Race for the Cure®, marking our sixth consecutive year of support. This year, 365 team members participated, raising breast cancer awareness, showing solidarity, and fostering a sense of community. On September 27, we hosted an impactful event as part of the TP Women initiative in Greece, where powerful speakers inspired our team members. Among them were TP employees who shared their courageous breast cancer journeys, offering invaluable insights and highlighting the importance of community and support.
We are just at the start of our journey and as we reflect on the year past and our vision ahead, we know we have the ingredients to continue to make an impact!
